Álvaro Leite Siza

Born in Porto, 1962.

Álvaro Leite Siza Vieira was born on July 28, 1962, in Porto, Portugal. He interned at the studio of Architect Eduardo Souto de Moura in 1992 and graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto in 1994.

His first work was the Vanzeller House in Afife, Portugal in 1992, and since then he has developed a wide range of other architectural projects, among which stand out: Estado Novo Discotheque in Matosinhos 1995; The ballroom of Quinta do Eirado, S. Mamede Infesta, 1998; Francisco Ramos Pinto House in Francelos and Mantra Discotheque in Matosinhos, both built in 2000.

During this period he also participated in numerous International Exhibitions of architecture, Painting, Furniture and Design.

He was nominated for the England International Wallpaper Awards, with the Casa Tolo project.
